Little tips for better looking weapons

- Use black athletic tape to wrap your handle.
- Take the black athletic tape roll and pull out a long section without tearing it off. Hold the section by the end and let the roll dangle in the air. Take your free hand and spin the roll by smacking it with the ends of your fingers. You just made a tape string. Tear off the tape string and wrap it around the handle in a cool pattern. You can also use contrasting colors of wrap and string- this looks cool.
- Add brass nails with domed round heads.
- Paint your cross and pommel with gold leaf paint- do it OUTSIDE in the OPEN AIR. However, DO NOT paint the flat part of the wheel pommel yet.
- Go to the religious supply center and buy a couple of saints medallions- clip off the part that hangs it from the chain, take a file and file it off, now you have two coins- each with one flat side.
- Then, using JB Weld glue the discs on each side of your wheel pommel, on the central flat part that you didn't paint.
- Go back and paint around the discs .
- Viola! You have the best-looking rattan sword possible.
